We started and wrapped up pre-conditioning this week. The grass is beautiful, cows are looking flush, and the calves are growing. Lightning and a rattlesnake bite made a few orphans, so the barnyard has gotten six barn brats that will start the weaning process a little early.

A big thanks to Cody. He came home to visit from NYC for about ten days, so Ed thought that was a great time to pre-condition! It was different than the editing booth, but hours were just as long a perhaps a bit more physically demanding. We were happy to have him home and thankful for his help.

Jade pushed calves and they showed their appreciation by leaving him with some bruised ankles. I guess they didn't really want their shots!
