The sweet, sweet serenade of black babies bawling sent Les & I to dream land this last week. Comparing weights from September to now, we were amazed and pleased at how well the babies grew and in what fabulous condition the cows stayed. Even our orphan baby had an impressive rate of gain while on grass without a mother's TLC. Just Sunday, we moved from the weaning pen to the field and the babies were getting quite comfortable in their new digs.
