Happy New Year! Our weather continues to pose challenges with our fourth decent snow storm of the season. We are burning through more hay than we would like, but remain hopeful as the snow is a promise of moisture which we are in desperate need of.

 

It's hard to believe, but we are under a month away from our 42nd annual bull sale on March 1, 2023. You should have the mailer if you are on our mailing list and the catalogs will be hitting mailboxes soon. Until then, the link for the catalog is LIVE under the 2023 bull sale tab.

 

With a warming trend predicted for this next week, we will be doing some catch up work. DVM Chris Finney will be at the south place to test the bulls Wednesday, and on Saturday, Tammy Mcintosh of DV Auction will be here to video the bulls.

2023 bull sale sire groups include KR Synergy 7023, Musgrave 316 Exclusive 1175, KR Incredible 8516, GAR Ashland, DL Wheelhouse 409, Barstow Unanimous, and SS Niagara.

The bulls are available for viewing and we have already had some people coming to look. Give us a call and we will make it happen. If you want to talk to someone who isn't part of our crew, talk to Josh Delaney of Delaney Cattle Services, who trimmed the bulls in January.

PATHFINDER

This is what we are made of. Our bulls are backed by a powerful, efficient and high performing cow herd 60 years in the making.

The American Angus Association awards the efficient cow with the Pathfinder Cow Award. These female produce their first calf near the herd average calving date, maintain a regular calving interval and have had three calves with an average weaning ratio of at least 105.
